The StartClim climate research programme was initiated by the AustroClim climate research initiative in 2002. It is designed as a flexible instrument which makes it possible to quickly take up on current climate change topics due to short project durations and projects being awarded annually. StartClim projects can and should address new topics related to climate and/or climate change from various perspectives and by different disciplines with an interdisciplinary approach.
